About
Fiona is an abstract mixed media artist based in the south of France. Her work is rooted in the conviction that unconditional love is the most transformative energy available to us and a curiosity about how that energy moves through us and the natural world.
Working in watercolour, acrylic, ink, oil and pastel, her pieces are not representations of landscape so much as translations of it; colour, form and texture render the quiet, animating forces hidden beneath what the eye can see. This inquiry extends beyond the studio: as a coach and mentor, Fiona has spent years holding space for others to see themselves more clearly, and her art is an extension of that same practice, an open invitation to pause and notice what becomes visible when we are still enough to look.
Her work has been shaped by immersive time in nature, most recently during the Sail Britain Wild Islands Residency 2025, sailing among the Hebridean islands of Soay, Skye, Canna and Rum.
